Odoo Solutions

An MEP contractor lives two lives. During the project it is a construction business, chasing material to site and billing progress. After handover it becomes a service business, running AMCs, preventive maintenance and breakdown calls for years. Most firms run those two lives in two different systems, or in none.

Demand is not the problem. Mordor Intelligence sizes the GCC MEP services market at about USD 3.06 billion for 2026, growing to USD 4.69 billion by 2031. Data centres are a big driver: AirTrunk and Humain sought contractor bids for a 250 MW Saudi campus in May 2026, and India’s data centre capacity is forecast to grow from about 2.2 GW in 2025 to around 12 GW by 2030. Every one of those halls needs cooling, power and fire protection, and every one comes with a maintenance contract.

Meanwhile the paperwork gets heavier. UAE e-invoicing is mandatory for larger businesses from 1 January 2027. The UAE’s Wage Protection System rules tightened in June 2026. In India, the Labour Codes changed how wages are calculated for every technician on the payroll.

Here are five Odoo partners worth speaking to. We are one of them and we are listed first; the test questions at the end apply to us as much as anyone.

How we chose

We looked for MEP or technical contracting references, modules covering estimates, material requisitions, subcontracting and AMC, and delivery in India or the GCC. Claims for other firms are as they publish them.

1. ochre.digital (Noida, Gurgaon, Mumbai)

ochre.digital quotes every project at a fixed price for a fixed scope. We do not sell prepaid Success Pack hours unless a client asks, because the point is a working system, not a bank of hours.

For MEP, we join the project side and the service side in one database. Estimates and BOQs become project budgets. Site material requests flow to purchase with approvals. Subcontractor work orders and bills sit against the job. At handover, the asset list becomes the maintenance contract, with recurring billing and technician visits planned from the same record.

We have done this for a multi-service facility management company that now runs enquiry to invoice in one database, bills recurring contracts automatically and reports margin by site. Our geofence attendance add-on stops technicians checking in from anywhere but the site, in English or Arabic. Our construction project management approach covers the build phase.

We train people on their own jobs and go live in phases. That keeps adoption high and lets the return show up early: fewer unbilled visits, faster progress bills and clearer job margins.

Best for: MEP and facility contractors with project and maintenance arms who want one system and a fixed price.

2. Probuse Consulting Service (India)

Probuse publishes the most MEP-specific product we found on the Odoo App Store: an MEP Contracting Management app for Odoo 18 to 20 Enterprise. It covers HVAC, electrical and plumbing estimate templates, material requisitions against job orders, subcontractor work orders, planned against actual costing, and post-handover AMC with preventive maintenance.

Best for: firms that want a ready MEP app to start from. Probuse publishes the app, so confirm who will implement it for you.

3. BrowseInfo (Ahmedabad)

BrowseInfo is a Gold partner with Best Partner India awards, construction among its industries, and an Odoo 19 job subcontracting app with job orders, cost sheets and a subcontractor portal.

Best for: contractors who want a large Gold partner and configurable apps. Its tools are construction-generic rather than built for MEP.

4. Technaureus Info Solutions (Kozhikode)

Technaureus has a contracting industry practice covering projects, budgets, procurement and payroll, and publishes a case for a contracting company in Oman.

Best for: contractors in Oman and the wider Gulf. Its site does not mention MEP specifically.

5. Infintor Solutions (Qatar)

Infintor presents itself as an Odoo partner in Qatar. Its Aerodyne Technical Services case in Dubai covers a firm doing fabrication, technical services and construction across CRM, purchase, inventory, HR and payroll, projects and accounting.

Best for: Qatar and UAE technical services firms. The case reports qualitative results only.

Five things to see in a demo

  1. An estimate turned into a project budget, then a progress bill with retention.
  2. A material request from site that becomes a purchase order with approval.
  3. A subcontractor bill checked against measured work.
  4. A handed-over building that becomes an AMC with planned visits and invoices.
  5. A fixed price for all of it, in writing.

Technicians are also where licence costs add up. Odoo 20’s Light User covers field service jobs, attendance, expenses and self-service at ₹195 a month in India, against ₹580 for a Standard user in year one. A team of 80 technicians on Light saves about ₹3.7 lakh a year. Try your own headcount on our Odoo pricing calculator.
