Odoo Solutions

Gulf manufacturing is no longer a side story to oil. The UAE’s Operation 300bn aims to take industrial GDP from AED 133 billion to AED 300 billion by 2031, and industrial exports passed AED 262 billion in 2025. Saudi Arabia opened 1,201 new factories last year and is targeting 36,000 by 2035.

New factories need systems. So do the older ones, because 2027 is the year tax authorities stop accepting anything less. UAE e-invoicing becomes mandatory on 1 January 2027 for businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more, and large businesses must appoint an accredited service provider by 30 October 2026. ZATCA’s 25th wave pulls Saudi taxpayers with turnover above SAR 187,500 into Phase 2 by 1 February 2027. Oman’s Fawtara rolls out in stages through 2027.

A spreadsheet cannot issue a Peppol invoice. An ERP can, if the partner sets it up properly.

We are one of the five partners below, and yes, we put ourselves first. The checklist at the end will tell you whether we deserve it.

How we chose

We favoured partners that publish manufacturing work in the region, show a working approach to e-invoicing in more than one country, and can support groups that run several companies from one database. Grades and claims for other firms are as they state them.

1. ochre.digital (India, serving the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman)

ochre.digital is the partner for owners who have been burnt before. Every project is quoted at a fixed price for a fixed scope. We do not push prepaid Success Pack hours unless a client insists, because a partner paid by the hour has little reason to finish.

Our method is built for adoption. Finance, sales, purchase and inventory go live first on real data, with training on each person’s own daily work. Manufacturing routings, quality checkpoints and maintenance follow once teams trust the numbers. That sequence is what keeps teams in the system after go-live instead of drifting back to Excel.

The work translates directly to Gulf plants. We have delivered lot traceability from raw material to dispatch for a precision spring manufacturer, serial-level part registers for a drone maker, and multi-entity accounting with weighbridge capture for a quarry and crushing group. Our geofence attendance add-on supports Arabic and right-to-left layouts.

Our delivery team works from India, which keeps fixed prices for Gulf clients competitive without cutting the hours a project needs.

Best for: owner-led manufacturers and family groups that want a firm number, a firm date and measurable return in year one.

2. Oakland (Sharjah)

Oakland is a Gold partner and part of the ARMOR Group, whose own factories run on Odoo. Its ASAS Packaging case in Umm Al Quwain is one of the better-documented projects in the region: Manufacturing, PLM, Quality and Maintenance live in 10 weeks, with BOM preparation time down 60% and defects down from 8% to 5.2%, as the firm reports.

Best for: UAE plants that want a partner with factory experience on its own shop floor. It lists six certified consultants in the UAE.

3. Techbot (Dubai)

Techbot lists itself as a Gold partner and has been based in Dubai since 2020. It publishes five named UAE manufacturing cases, including 3A-Cryogenic, Al Agar Ice Cream and HYM Investment Group’s uniform business.

Best for: UAE SMEs that want named local references. The cases describe scope rather than measured results, so ask for figures.

4. Plementus (Dubai, Riyadh, Cairo)

A Gold partner founded in 2019, Plementus claims 100+ enterprise projects and a team of more than 50 senior specialists. Its office spread suits groups that operate across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Best for: multi-country groups. It lists manufacturing as an industry but does not yet name factory clients publicly.

5. OdooTec (Riyadh)

OdooTec has built business solutions in Saudi Arabia since 2007 and is often described as the longest-standing Gold partner there. It claims 200+ projects and lists manufacturing, food and petrochemicals among its industries.

Best for: Saudi manufacturers that want local presence and long Odoo history. Ask how it handles ZATCA Phase 2 integration and the Saudi local content reporting that now applies to government contracts.

What to ask before you sign

  1. Is the implementation price fixed? What is excluded?
  2. Which accredited service provider will you connect us to for UAE e-invoicing, and who tests it?
  3. Can you run ZATCA, UAE and Oman invoicing from one multi-company database?
  4. Show me a factory client that has been live for at least a year.
  5. How many of our operators qualify as Light Users?

The licence question deserves a proper answer. Odoo 20 introduced a Light User licence for shop floor, barcode, attendance and self-service work. Odoo has not published a GCC price yet and quotes it case by case, but in India it costs about a third of a Standard user. On a plant with 100 operators, the difference is significant. Our Odoo pricing calculator shows current UAE rates for Standard and Custom.

Where to start

Map the e-invoicing deadline that applies to you, then work back. A focused first phase can be live before 1 January 2027 if you start this quarter. If you are planning across India and the Gulf, our companion guide to Odoo partners for manufacturing in India covers the other side of the corridor. When you are ready for a fixed number, talk to us.
