What changed in Odoo pricing in 2026?
On 24 September 2026, with Odoo 20, the Custom plan went up by about 20% and Standard stayed where it was. In India, Custom is now ₹1,080 per user per month in year one and ₹1,350 after that on yearly billing. Standard is ₹580 in year one and ₹725 after. Odoo also introduced the Light User licence.
What is a Light User and who counts as one?
A Light User works only on their own tasks: attendance, time off, expenses, payslips, appraisals, Point of Sale, shop floor, barcode scanning, field service jobs and reading Knowledge. In India it costs ₹195 per month. Anyone who creates quotations or purchase orders, touches accounting, approves other people’s leave or changes settings is a full user. An active employee record with no full login also counts as a Light User. Light Users need Odoo 20 and are arranged through an Odoo advisor rather than the online checkout.
Is the Light User licence available in the UAE?
Yes, but Odoo has not published a GCC price yet and quotes it case by case. The calculator leaves Light Users out of the UAE total for that reason. We will get you the written figure during scoping.
What does implementation cost on top of the licence?

Standard or Custom: which one do we need?
Both include every app. Choose Custom if you need more than one company in the same database, Odoo Studio, the external API for integrations, Odoo.sh or on-premise hosting, or the Agentic AI features. Most manufacturers, distributors and groups with a trading arm end up on Custom. Odoo.sh hosting is billed separately.
Do these prices include tax?
No. Indian invoices add 18% GST. UAE invoices add 5% VAT. The estimate shows tax on a separate line.
